There is Nothing More American than an Immigrant

In our district, one in four households speaks a language other than English at home. That is not 'other.' That is us – that is America.  

I have lived and worked across cultures and seen how diversity strengthens innovation, perspective, and resilience.

Celebrating heritage is not disloyal. Speaking another language is not anti-American. Holding onto culture enriches our country.  

It's not just a slogan – it's a fundamental truth – our diversity is our greatest strength.

Secure Borders Matter because Laws Create Order

The rule of law matters because fairness requires consistency.  When systems are chaotic, everyone loses. When immigration systems function well, everyone benefits – both the native and the newcomer.

We must modernize and expand our immigration system with an eye on the incredible competitive advantage that immigration brings.

Our national law enforcement (ICE, Border Patrol, FBI, DEA, ATF, and U.S. Marshalls) should not be tools of political influence and cultural war fighting.  These agencies are critical to community safety and need serious, non-partisan focused leadership.

Communities can be safe only when the population trusts and respects our law enforcement professionals.  

Enforcement must be lawful, professional, and accountable — not fear-driven or lacking transparency.

My Federal Focus

• Increase immigration court capacity to reduce backlogs
• Modernize legal processing procedures and systems
• Create lawful work pathways aligned with industry needs
• Enforce immigration law consistently and without racial profiling
• Strengthen border infrastructure and accountably
• Establish reasonable standards for federal law enforcement agencies

Bottom Line:  Ease of Immigration Strengthens our Societal Fabric and Boosts Global Competitiveness.
